Retained consultant Don Neslund provides expertise in the areas of OSHA compliance and regulations, construction safety, Hazwoper training, federal excavation standards and fall protection, ladder and scaffold requirements. Mr. Neslund served as a consultant to the National Safety Council (NSC). He has conducted construction safety courses for NASA, Lewis Research Center, Fermilab, and Abbott Laboratories. He is a certified safety executive for the World Safety Organization, and is an OSHA certified instructor for the 10 and 30 hour Construction Safety courses. Mr. Neslund is a NSC-certified instructor for the Defensive Driving Course (DDC-4). He is a former Department of Labor-certified MSHA instructor. He is also a NSC-certified instructor for the Flagger Training Program. In addition, Mr. Neslund serves on the Construction Division Executive Committee of the National Safety Council. He is a former member of the faculty of Construction Safety Management Academy at Clemson University, South Carolina.
