Stephen L. Ivey

Accident Reconstructionist

Mr. Ivey joins Ruhl Forensic as an accident reconstructionist after twenty years of experience as a military accident investigator and reconstructionist. Mr. Ivey investigated hundreds of traffic accidents while stationed in the United States and Okinawa, Japan. In addition, he served as the testifying expert or consultant in numerous military service related fatality and serious accident investigations throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Mr. Ivey instructed Department of Defense / Armed Forces police officers in traffic accident investigation, co-authored Traffic Management and Accident Investigation course textbook and final exam and, most recently, served as the Antiterrorism and Force Protection Officer for the Randolph AFB 12th Flying Training Wing. Trained in accident reconstruction and investigation at the Institute of Police Training and Management at the University of Northwestern Florida, Mr. Ivey also holds Associate in Applied Science degrees in both Criminal Justice and Instructor of Technology.
